With all four limbs amputated; Théo Curin crossed Lake Titicaca with twojournaltimepanions. An epic of 122 kilometers between Bolivia and Peru; in grim conditions.

Sunday November 21; on the island of Los Uros in Peru; the swimmer Théo Curin he achieved his goal. The Frenchman; with his four amputated limbs; managed to cross Lake Tititcaca. Ajournaltimepanied by two other swimmers; theyjournaltimepleted an epic of 122 kilometers between Bolivia and Peru; which finally lasted 11 days. This is the first time in history.

There; their families were waiting to congratulate them. Many Peruvians also came to cheer them on. The three; taking turns; braved dire conditions: rain; hail; and impressive thunderstorms. To achieve such a feat; they trained for a year. By embarking on this journey; the athletes wanted to convey a message: respect and preserve the environment.
