Two Frenchmen slipped among the eight finalists in the 110-meter hurdles at the Tokyo Olympics. Aurel Manga (13*24) and Pascal Martinot-Lagarde (13*25) signed respectively the 5th and 6th halves of the semifinals; Wednesday 4 August. The best time was set by American Grant Holloway in 13*13.

After his fifth place in Rio in 2016; Pascal Martinot-Lagarde won his ticket to a second Olympic final in the distance. The tricolor hurdler finished second in his semi-final on Wednesday in Tokyo; behind Jamaican Ronald Levy. With a time of 13*25; he simply achieved his best mark this season.

After Pascal Martinot-Lagarde, Aurel Manga is the second Frenchman to reach the final of the 110m hurdles.  The Frenchman equaled his personal best in 13'24 '' and finished second in his series.

He will participate in his first Olympic final; alongside Pascal Martinot-Lagarde; on Thursday at 4:55 am French time.
