Live weather updates from Leeds Met Office when snow falls and ice warnings are issued

Leeds has issued an overnight ice warning for ice after snow flurries.

Parts of the district saw a ceiling from snow fall late on Monday evening.

The Met Office has warned that icy stretches are expected this morning; with the possibility of injuries from slips and falls.

The yellow ice warning is from 2 a.m. to 11 a.m. and covers much of Yorkshire; Northumberland; Durham and Cumbria.

Leeds City Council shakers were out on the streets last night preparing for today’s icy weather.
