NEC product Ferdi Kadioglu prefers Turkish national team over Orange | NEC

ISTANBUL – Former NEC player Ferdi Kadioglu chooses the Turkish national team. His club Fenerbahçe makes this known on its website. The 22-year-old Arnhemmer played in youth teams for Orange for years.




Kadioglu moved to Fenerbahçe in the summer of 2018. He left NEC; with which he played at the second level of the Netherlands. The midfielder with Turkish roots played as a youth for the Arnhem clubs AZ 2000 and ESA. At the age of 7 he already moved to the youth academy of NEC in Nijmegen.

It is a logical choice of Kadioglu to choose Turkey

Kadioglu made his debut for the Netherlands in Orange under 17. He made it to Orange under 21. His last international match was the semi-final of the European Championship against Germany in June 2021 (2-1 loss). The technician played a total of 52 matches for representative teams of the Netherlands; in which he scored 10 times.

The Turkish superpower Fenerbahçe is proud of Kadioglu’s choice: ‘We wish our 22-year-old footballer endless success with our national jersey.’
