The curling club “give it back”

The first presentation of the Team Michel Michaud / Proprio Direct holiday tournament brought together around fifty participants who had a great time last weekend as part of this festive and charity event for the benefit of Moisson Rimouski-Neigette.

The food and cash drive raised about $ 2,000. Pascale D’Auteuil, president of Moisson Rimouski-Neigette, emphasizes that the current situation, of widespread inflation, is not encouraging for more people and that needs of all kinds have increased considerably. He would like to thank the Rimouski curling club from the bottom of his heart for the generosity of its members, both in food and money raised, following this great initiative to help the most disadvantaged in the region.

To return to the tournament, note the victories of the quartet formed by Denis Beaupré, Berthol Dubé, Isabelle Turcotte and Bernard Dubé in class C, that of Karl Dubé, Anthony Ouellet, Zackary Dubé and Adam Dubé in class B and the team formed above by Alexandre Coulombe, Martin Drouin, Yve Rouleau and Louise Fraser in class A.

The club president, Martin Drouin, and the head of the organizing committee, Éric Desaulniers, thank all the members and the general population for their contribution, as well as the invaluable sponsors of the event: Team Michel Michaud / Proprio Direct, Tim Hortons, La Cage aux Sports and Mercado Claudin Malenfant.
