Wells Fargo will be the LPA’s first official sponsor

Association of Latino Publishers (LPA) recently announced the arrival of well-known financial company Wells Fargo as the first official corporate sponsor and “public bank” of the organization.

This critical support for LPA comes thanks to the leadership of its President and Founder, Fanny Miller, as well as the support of Rubén Barrales, Vice President of External Engagement, Diversity, Representation and Engagement at Wells Fargo.

LPA ensures that thanks to the support and trust of the trusted financial institution, it will be able to continue its mission of supporting Latino and other minority publishers to develop and produce reliable editorial and journalistic products that benefit their communities.

“Partnering with LPA aligns with Wells Fargo’s ongoing efforts to champion diversity, equity and inclusion and serve the Latino community.” We are excited to take a leadership role in supporting LPA and Hispanic publishers across the country.” emphasized Barrales.

Miller emphasizes:

With continued community support, LPA will be able to keep its communities informed while adhering to the highest professional standards within the industry.

Miller also emphasizes how, as the LPA continues to grow, the organization’s mission remains to offer a diverse community of publishers and young professionals opportunities for development and advancement, as well as initiatives to recruit new talent as the industry evolves from that format which is printed to digital.

LPA is a 501(c3) non-profit organization for Latino and other minority-owned publishing companies whose core business is developing and producing trusted editorial and journalistic products.

Wells Fargo & Company is a leading financial services company with approximately $1.9 billion in assets.
