Ayacucho: EsSalud will allocate S/ 120 million to build hospitals and better health services | News

The Health Insurance (EsSalud) will invest more than S120 million in the construction of two bicentennial hospitals and the implementation of the project to improve health services in Ayacucho, which will benefit hundreds of policyholders in this region in the south of the country. .

This was announced by the director of EsSalud, Gino Dávila Herrera, after participating in the technical table for the comprehensive development of the Ayacucho province of Cangallo, which brought together representatives of central, regional and local authorities, as well as civil society.

The official explained that it is planned to implement the I-4 bicentenary hospital in the Cangallo region, a project in which 50 million soles will be allocated, which includes equipment and specialized personnel.

The highest authority of social insurance, together with the municipal authorities, inspected over 8,000 square meters of land that the municipality will donate for the construction of the health institution.

The second floor of the II-1 Bicentennial Hospital will be built in the province of Huanta, with an investment of 70 million soles. The future health center will include hospital rooms, outpatient departments, operating rooms, maternity rooms, among others.

Dr. Dávila Herrera also said that with a budget of more than 287 thousand soles, EsSalud will carry out the project to improve health services in Puquio to optimize medical services for the insured in these towns located in the southern region. .
