For the second year in a row, the Secretariat of Health of Jalisco (SSJ) is present at Talent Land, the most important technology event aimed at young people in the country, which brings together talent to find the right solutions to problems current; forum that will take place from April 10 to 14 at the Expo Guadalajara facilities.
In a press conference, the SSJ announced the program of activities that will be carried out at the Salud Jalisco stand, which will be located in the subject area called LAND OF HEALTH (Land of Health) and where there will be technological innovations that will have an impact on Biotechnology. , Genomic Medicine, Future Medicine, Mental Health and Disability.
“It is a space that includes many lands (thematic areas), and we expect more than 40 thousand participants this year; with 6 speakersVery important (speakers), 9 thematic countries, 3 cases, more than 1,500 hours of content and two main objectives: motivation and connection”, said the Secretary of Health of Jalisco, Fernando Petersen Aranguren.
Likewise, he pointed out that the SSJ will be promoting the field of technology applied to health, both in preventive medicine and in specific treatments; as in research and digital health.
“The SSJ is participating again in this important space that seeks to awaken talent, the development of technological projects, innovation, entrepreneurship, especially to provide solutions to the main health problems,” said the head of the SSJ.
Petersen highlighted the great success of the Health stand during 2022, as a space for knowledge, creativity and vision for innovation and new technologies that are already implemented in specific prevention and health promotion programs.
“The State Government, through the SSJ, has friendly digital strategies for young people and teenagers, in terms of sexual prevention and education, as well as reproductive health,” said the official.
In addition, Petersen Aranguren said that the SSJ has already started with technological advances such as: The use of the electronic file, different platforms and tools with modified medical parameters and health care in technological matters, screening for cardiometabolic diseases, tools for the risk prenatal. detection; among others.
Similarly, the use of technology through the creation of QR codes, to target pages of interest to adolescents and young people in the field of sexual and reproductive health, such as the website Select Take care of yourself; or for a community service such as the Sin dengue App.
The Commander of Health in Jalisco reported that the SSJ has already delivered 2,000 face-to-face scholarships, as well as 500 virtual scholarships for personnel from medical and related institutions so that they can participate in Talent Land.
On her behalf, Georgina García Martínez, President of the Jalisco Medical Cluster and President of the Land of Health 2023 said that the participation of doctors, nurses, nutritionists, psychologists “in a country that aims to show innovation from the activists all that in view of the amount of health today it is a great support to have this technology that allows us to provide solutions to the patients that we are indebted to”.
