European University of Technology (EUt+) attended today, Thursday, the event “Research Management in European Alliances”, held at Bocconi University in Milan. This international meeting had presentations from members of CIVICA Research, as well as other European Alliances on Research Management practices. The technician from UPCT’s Research and Technology Transfer Unit for EUt+, Daniel Robles, attended on behalf of the consortium, as coordinator of the Research Office. Robles presented the achievements of EUt+ in the first two years of the alliance.

Daniel Robles has highlighted the increase in proposals for R&D projects presented, the development of tools for research management, the creation of the European Research Institutes (ERI) or the first results of the EXTRAS project (Reporting to Research Activities and Change Steering).

Attendees had the opportunity to take part in two competitions. The first, on ‘Success factors and obstacles to achieving coordinated institutional transformation to support research’. The second focused on ‘Building a research management network across universities and cultures: critical factors’.

The UPCT joined the EUt+ consortium in 2020, which consists of eight universities, an initiative of European Universities within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
