Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and Raymond Cruz star in a commercial that will air during the Super Bowl, 2023expensive and popular sporting event of the year in the United States, to Walt, Jesse and Tuco, the chemist and methamphetamine dealers from “break badly“.
In a short interview with Entertainment WeeklyCranston talked about what it was like to reunite with the cast members and the possibility of re-acting as characters from the series.

Snack brand PopCorners hired the creator “break badly” (2008-2013), Vince Gilligan, who directed and wrote the commercial for the brand, for its transmission on the super bowl on Sunday, February 12. In addition, the company hired the protagonists of the series in an attempt to return to the stage, but to promote the product.
In the opening scene, Jesse (Aaron Paul) finds the new “bomb” created by Walt (Bryan Cranston): PopCorners. Taken by the taste of the snack, the youngest informs his partner: “You are an artist!” He is surprised, because it is a delicious meal to create. And with typical genius attitude, Cranston’s character replies, “Actually, they’re just basic ingredients, but we don’t sample the merchandise.”
“We don’t eat our produce” was one of Walt’s classic lines on the series. “We hope the fans see this and smile, just like we smiled when we did it,” Cranston told EW.
The actor said that the scenes were filmed in an abandoned dump not far from Lancaster, in California. “We used the exterior and interior of our hero RV (an old trailer from the series that simulated drug production). It was like a dream to see the bullet holes in the door. So we (the actors) were smiling all the time and looking at our clothes again, recognizing the sensitivity and the way Raymond Cruz spoke as Tuco, and the way Jesse spoke. Even as Walt spoke. We had our own distinctive ways of communicating. It was a lot of fun,” Cranston said.
The actor also speculated that the Breaking Bad cast could be reunited in the future. “When it was the last day of shooting the series, we thought it would be the last time we would do these characters. Then we got another chance in the movie ‘El Camino’. (…) So we stopped saying: ‘This is the last time we are going to do this.’ Who knows? Maybe. I’m not sure, but… you know, we’ll leave it at that,” Cranston said.
“El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie” is a 2019 film directed by Vince Gilligan. It is a drama in which Jesse has mixed feelings as he thinks about his future. The cast included Aaron Paul, Bryan Cranston, Jesse Plemons, and Krysten Ritter.
