This is the Tecno Chameleon Coloring Technology, which allows us to choose from more than 1,600 colors, and which, according to the company, uses a submicron prism that scatters light when it falls on it, which allows us. change the setting of the prism to change the color you see when the light is scattered.
The material can be changed up to two million times before it fails, allowing you to change color 100 times a day for almost 55 years, so we won’t have a problem with changing color often.
Now, this new technology uses a bit of battery, but the company says that a 100-time color change is equivalent to watching a 5-minute YouTube video in terms of energy, so we will be able to use it continuously.
The bad news is that although this technology has just been announced, it is not present in any prototypes yet, so we will have to wait and see what it means.
