With traditional data protection methods, users can expect sequential write performance of 2 GBps to 4 GBps, as I/O bottlenecks will prevent full access to NVMe drive performance. Using SupremeRAID™ with patent-pending off-path data flow and innovative new Smart Parity data reduction technology, users can expect speeds in excess of 90GBps1 for a RAID5 sequential writer as it eliminates all neck from an I/O bottleneck, allowing users to take advantage of the full performance of NVMe SSDs.
“This new enhancement offered by Graid Technology will give SupremeRAID™ users a clear competitive advantage in the market. The ability to write unstructured data sets to high-speed NVMe drives at such an accelerated speed will save our customers a tremendous amount of time and drive. Lower TCO on your infrastructure purchases,” said Leander Yu, President and CEO of Grad Technology.
“Since the launch of our first product in 2021, we have continuously improved the performance of SupremeRAID™ with software updates for our existing customers. This clearly demonstrates the powerful capabilities of our technology – we can’t wait to see how much further we can . push it.”
The enhanced version of SupremeRAID™ elevates the product that Graid Technology brings to the global enterprise market. It will be available to all Graid Technology customers, regardless of channel, as a free update after general release. As Graid Technology continues to expand its OEM, distribution and integration partnerships, it will continue to work with customers and partners to explore options for additional software functionality and future product enhancements.
